Fiser Family Dental is Hiring an Associate Dentist Near Fort Smith, AR
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Duties:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays and CT scans (Sidexis)
- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (Dentrix)
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe dental environment
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, including hygienists, assistants, and lab technicians
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Current state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in Dental coding and terminology
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is a plus
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
